If you launch Assembly Copier from Autodesk Inventor, currently opened assembly or drawing, it's content will loaded into Assembly Copier automatically.

If you launch program manually using shortcut press "Open assembly" button on Assembly Copier toolbar and choose an assembly, the software will find all referenced parts, subassemblies, drawings, presentations and derived parts and loads it to Assembly Copier environment. |

Note: In settings menu you can enable or disable Library files load. If library files are loaded you can choose way to copy library files: copy like ordinary files, or reused.
