Product (assembly) copying

 

Assembly copying or renaming in Autodesk Inventor is a task that is impossible to perform using standard file management tools of the Windows operating system because it is impossible to track all the links between files. Autodesk Inventor offers several mechanisms to perform this function. These are the Autodesk Vault Copy Design function and the iLogic Design Copy command. For the copying task, we suggest to use the Assembly Copier software. It better takes into account the specifications of the information generated by Woodwork for Inventor.
