Automatic generation of mortises and tenons

Top | Previous | Next

The command is used to generate mortises and tenons in the parts being joint together. This is performed based on the joint component inserted in the model.

To open the command, go to:

Woodwork Design –> Joint –> Sculpt sculpt32

Sculpt

1.Selection of one or several parts which require sculpting.

2.All parts having a Woodwork for Inventor material assigned to them are included in the set of parts to be processed.

3.All Autodesk Inventor materials are included in the set of parts to be processed with an exception for Purchased parts and parts having a Woodwork for Inventor material assigned to them.

4.Associative sculpting is activated. It means that once the link component location is changed, the holes will follow. Please note that such association in large models significantly burdens the system.

5.Execution of sculpting of joints.

6.Deletion of joints to be sculpted.
